The company that produces Ozobots is Ozobot & Evollove Inc. Ozobot & Evollve Inc. created Bit in 2014 and Evo in 2016. Ozobot & Evollve Inc. was founded in Redondo Beach, California, when Evollve Inc. partnered with Ozobots. Ozobot & Evollve Inc. are gaining so much money and are hoping to make more different kinds of Ozobots, while spreading the news about Ozobots to other countries.

 

 

Why were Ozobots invented?

     Ozobots were invented by Nader Hamda. Nader created Ozobots when he saw his daughter's interest in digital technology . He decided that he should make an alternative for education toys. His alternative idea would be cheaper and would be more effective in learning. He first created Ozobots in Redondo Beach,California. So far Mr.Hamda has made over three million dollars.Nader has been working to produce more Ozobots for more countries.

What do Ozobots   do?

      Ozobots do different and similar things to regular robots. Ozobots have many differences which will be described. One reason Ozobots are different than other robots is that Ozobots are very small so they can even fit in your pocket. Another reason they are different than other robots is Ozobots are easy to control. Ozobots are programmed by what you tell them to do (OzoBlocky or OzoCodes).

      Different robots aren't just called different things, they do different things. Service Robots do cooking, waiting (seating people), and entertainment. Lely Astronaut A4 milks cows. Unimate makes cars. Telerobots do dangerous things that could harm humans. Packbot 510 is used by military's to search for enemy soldiers or explosives in a location. Packbot then sends images to the soldiers. UACV's and UAV's (unmanned aerial combat vehicles) watch troubled areas and or nations. Nursebots care for old and or disabled people.

     Robots do things such as do repetitive actions, dangerous stuff humans shouldn't do, build cars, candy bars, and electronics.  Robots are now used in medicine, military tactics, finding underwater objects, and exploring planets, gas tanks, volcanoes, extreme temperatures, and contaminated places. For medicine Nanobots will be put in blood streams to do things such as surgery procedures, fight bacteria, repair organ cells, and destroy cancer cells.

     Now the different robots are getting Artificial Intelligence or AI.AI is robots having human like behavior. AI is developing decision making. AI robots are now being made with a translating languages feature. That is very uncommon for a robot to possess.AI includes features such as face recognition software, computer games, and complicated scheduling software. These features will help us understand other people and see the progress in technology. Soon AI will even more awesome feature in which no one thought was capable by humans.

      Ozobots have different jobs to when they follow different codes. Ozobots can follow lines and see colors and it will blink that color when it hovers over it. The Ozobot reads flashes or in other words it reads codes. The Ozobot gets behavioral instructions from the codes that it reads. Such as spin, turn right, turn left, zig zag and so on.

Ozobots are one of the only programming educational toys without a device. Ozobots pretty much created a new category of educational technology. Ozobots can teach students from Kindergarten all the way to PHD. You can also suggest lessons to put on the Ozobot website. Ozobots are encouraging students to become engineers,programmers, or just have interest in gadgets.

There are some cons about Ozobots, people say. One is that you have to calibrate the Ozobot frequently. Also the parents have to buy the Ozobots, as some schools won't let the kids take them home. The Ozobots don't work as well as advertised. This is what buyers say so it may not be true.
